Job Description:

As an Investment Analyst at Willow Growth Partners, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting the growth and success of our portfolio companies. We are looking for a hungry and high-potential analyst to join our investment team. This person will have a “no task too big or too small” attitude and be willing to get their hands dirty on everything from deal sourcing to marketing, and fund administrative duties. We are a young fund and this is an incredible opportunity to be part of helping to build and shape the future of Willow. You will collaborate closely with our team to identify potential whitespaces and promising startups, conduct thorough research, and financial analysis, and assist in making investment decisions. We are a small, passionate team obsessed with the cultural zeitgeist and evolving consumer sentiment, and the brands responding to those changes to bring joy to their customers’ lives. We are looking for creative thinkers, eager and willing to challenge the status quo thinking, who ‘feel’ brands and have a strong gut instinct for where opportunities lie, and which are the best brands and founders to fill that whitespace.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or equity research Is preferred
  • Obsessed with consumer brands and the joy those brands bring to consumers
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, financial statement analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Desire to sweat the small stuff with attention to detail; ability to think one step ahead
  • Self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Independent thinker, self-motivated multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced, results-matter environment
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, enjoys self-direction, self-management, and accountability
