About this Role
The Portfolio & Platform Associate at JFFVentures is envisioned as a vital systems-oriented operator and relationship cultivator, invigorated by facilitating the success of entrepreneurial ventures. This role prominently revolves around platform optimization and portfolio value enhancement, while also offering substantive exposure to investment activities. The associate will primarily serve as the pivotal interface for portfolio companies post-investment, fostering robust relationships and articulating value-driven initiatives that benefit founders through customer introductions and strategic partnerships. In addition, the associate will actively participate in managing internal frameworks that bolster investment tracking, onboarding processes, and relationship management, while leading fund reporting initiatives and LP communications. A significant emphasis is placed on measuring, communicating, and aligning impact strategies to fortify JFFVentures’ Investment Measurement Methodology (IMM) approach by crafting frameworks, monitoring results, and establishing performance goals across the portfolio. Concurrently, the role involves contributing to the investment pipeline by sourcing and evaluating early-stage investment opportunities in workforce, edtech, and future work paradigms. Activities include conducting comprehensive market research, shaping investment hypotheses, supporting diligence efforts, and nurturing professional networks with founders, accelerators, and co-investors.
