As a Sustainable Investing Research Associate at JPMorganChase, you will be at the forefront of data analytics, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive sustainable investing. This role involves close collaboration with global research and technology teams to enhance investment decision-making through data-driven analysis. The successful candidate will contribute to building scalable data workflows, ensuring data quality, and delivering impactful analytics. In the role, you will generate insights from large datasets, construct analytical workflows using Python and SQL, and translate complex analyses into clear, decision-ready narratives. You will also develop visualizations to illustrate trends and perform rigorous data validations. The position involves designing data controls for metric accuracy and collaborating with data and technology teams to troubleshoot and enhance data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Generate data-driven insights from large datasets to support sustainable investing research
- Build analytical workflows using Python and SQL
- Translate complex analysis into clear, decision-ready narratives and presentations
- Develop visualizations to explain trends and data considerations
- Perform data validation including benchmarking and sensitivity analysis
- Investigate and resolve data issues through root cause analysis
- Design data controls to ensure metric accuracy and reliability
- Maintain scalable data pipelines for dataset management
- Partner with data and technology teams to troubleshoot and enhance processes
- Support implementation and validation of changes across platforms
Requirements
- Experience using Python or R for data analysis and automation
- Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets and complex queries
- Experience with large-scale data platforms, such as Snowflake
- Ability to translate business questions into data-driven insights
