About this Role
CGC is seeking a motivated Manager, Product Development to advance clean energy and sustainable infrastructure solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of products, from market discovery and concept development to pilot implementation and continuous improvement. This role places a strong emphasis on decarbonization, on-site solar, distributed energy resources, and other related financing tools to accelerate clean energy adoption in the built environment. As a part of the team, your work will directly contribute to scalable and replicable solutions that align with CGC’s equity- and impact-driven mission. Collaborating closely with Market Development, Engineering, Policy, Communications, and Capital Deployment teams, you will be pivotal in translating innovative ideas into transformative market programs.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of CGC’s clean energy product roadmap.
- Conduct market research and stakeholder engagement.
- Translate strategic concepts into program designs and models.
- Develop business cases for new products.
- Lead the coordination of pilot programs and projects.
- Evaluate pilot performance and develop recommendations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for product development.
- Ensure effective internal and external collaboration.
- Monitor product performance and market developments.
- Identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of clean energy solutions.
- Experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects.
- Familiarity with clean energy economics and financing structures.
- Proficiency in program management tools like Jira, Salesforce.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience with on-site solar program design is a plus.
