The Kapor Foundation is a social impact organization dedicated to making the technology ecosystem more inclusive and equitable for Black, Latine, Native, and other underrepresented communities. The foundation invests in and supports organizations at the nexus of racial equity and technology, focusing on expanding access to computer science education in K-12 and postsecondary education, improving tech accountability and worker protections, and increasing infrastructure investments. It operates alongside the Kapor Center, Kapor Capital, and SMASH, leveraging grantmaking, policy advocacy, research, and venture capital to reimagine the tech sector and foster systemic change.
