Benchstrength Fund I is a $62 million early-stage venture capital fund that invests in pre-seed and seed-stage technology companies building at the intersection of enterprise, consumer, fintech and healthcare. Led by former investors from General Catalyst, the fund emphasises inclusive founder sourcing—targeting founders from historically overlooked networks and backgrounds—on the premise that diversity drives both innovation and returns. Backed by institutional partners such as Ford Foundation, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and other major limited-partners, the strategy is built around supporting world-class founders early, deploying catalytic capital, and scaling startups that can transform business and uplift communities.
