About this Role
Allied Climate Partners is seeking a strategic and highly collaborative leader to serve as the Managing Director of Operations & Organizational Effectiveness. As the senior-most internal-facing organizational leader under the CEO, this role is pivotal to ACP’s next growth phase, ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization. The Managing Director plays an integrative role across strategic execution, people and culture, and operational facets. While not involved in sourcing or executing investments, the role requires fluency in the underlying mechanics of investment processes. The successful candidate will bring a proactive sense of ownership, translating complexity into executable systems that align with ACP’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Acts as ACP’s connective tissue by combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
- Partners closely with the CEO to translate strategy into actionable plans.
- Instills structure and discipline in a rapidly scaling organization.
- Builds and strengthens scalable systems across finance, legal, compliance, HR, and governance.
- Ensures organizational needs are anticipated and proactively addressed.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing teams through growth and change in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to advance multiple complex priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in impact investing, climate, development finance, clean technology, and/or philanthropy.
