About this Role
BlueHub Capital is on the lookout for a committed Director of Credit to be part of our Lending team. This influential role, reporting directly to the Chief Credit Officer, is pivotal for overseeing the credit approval process, ensuring robust, consistent, and efficient credit decisions within BlueHub’s lending programs. The Director will manage the loan approval journey, from Credit Committee deliberations to the issuance of Loan Approval Notification Letters. Coordinating Credit Committee operations is another key aspect of this role, alongside contributions to risk management and credit policy development. The role also entails acting as a liaison to loan closers and the portfolio management team. The desirable candidate will possess robust analytical skills, sound judgment, and a cooperative spirit to drive BlueHub’s mission-oriented lending.
Responsibilities
- Support the Chief Credit Officer with administrative, analytical, and operational tasks.
- Review and approve Loan Approval Term Sheets and Credit Memos.
- Provide feedback and technical assistance on credit review and analysis to the BlueHub underwriting team.
- Organize internal training sessions focused on credit policy and management.
- Manage logistics and documentation for credit committee meetings.
- Administer the loan risk rating process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the portfolio management team for risk rating updates.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in credit analysis or fund administration, ideally in a mission-driven setting.
- Proven experience with credit committee operations.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with loan management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and credit-related software platforms.
