About this Role
Rainier Climate is seeking its first Vice President of Programs to join the growing team in Bellevue, Washington. The role involves translating organization-wide strategies into actionable plans and ensuring consistent execution across the program team. Collaboration with the organization’s President and Cofounders is essential to align strategies with emerging opportunities and ensure alignment with Rainier’s mission. The VP will provide leadership and guidance to a team of Program Directors and Associates, ensuring the transparency and execution of Rainier’s strategies. Responsibilities include overseeing grantmaking processes from conception to implementation and maintaining an active partnership with the President regarding program alignment and execution.
Responsibilities

- Lead strategy development across portfolios.
- Ensure high-quality grant recommendations and program delivery.
- Serve as a proxy for the President on program matters.
