About this Role
In the role of Director/Manging Director for Climate/Deeptech Venture Capital, you will play a vital role in defining strategies, executing investments, and shaping the future of the fund. Responsibilities
- Define and refine the investment thesis in climatech and deeptech.
- Represent the fund externally with LPs, founders, co-investors, and public institutions.
- Lead portfolio construction and capital allocation decisions.
- Drive the fundraising process with European institutional and industrial investors.
- Source and execute high-quality investments, taking lead investor roles.
- Play an active role on the boards of portfolio companies.

Requirements
- 15+ years in climatech/deeptech VC.
- Proven track record of sourcing, leading, and exiting investments in climate or industrial tech.
- Strong ecosystem network across founders, investors, LPs, and corporates.
- Recognized thought leadership in climate tech, space tech, or industrial innovation.
- Strong technical foundation; an engineering background preferred.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional European language highly desirable.
