Conquest has raised $124 million to hold renewable energy assets for the long term.

Conquest’s Renewable Yield Europe fund will look to acquire solar and wind projects in western Europe that are already lined up for construction or operations.

Conquest will hold on to the renewable plants for 20 years and offer investors long-term fixed returns.

The Luxembourg-based Conquest raised the first €115 million ($124 million) of the planned €500 million renewable energy infrastructure fund from unnamed energy and insurance companies, pension funds and banks.
