About this Role
The Financial Modelling & Analysis Associate role at Social Finance provides an exciting opportunity to leverage financial skills in addressing social challenges. The position focuses on building and applying robust financial models while collaborating with skilled colleagues. The Financial Modelling & Analysis Associate will primarily work within the Social Investment Community of Practice but will also engage with various Communities of Impact, such as Housing and Homelessness.
Responsibilities
- Build clear, well-structured financial models in Excel.
- Develop and test financial assumptions.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Support cost-benefit analyses and other financial assessments.
- Bring a financial lens to project viability and sustainability.
- Analyze financial and operational information for project recommendations.
- Assist in exploring financing approaches and developing investment cases.
- Act as a resource for financial modelling expertise within project teams.
- Contribute to internal financial expertise and best practice development.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in financial advisory, transactions, or due diligence.
