About this Role
The Senior Director of Investments, Lifecycle Capital, is a pivotal role at Rhia Ventures. The position involves building and managing Rhia’s pioneering catalytic and blended capital strategy aimed at improving reproductive and maternal health by focusing on reproductive justice and health equity. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Director will encompass end-to-end execution of investments, impact measurement, and team building. The role is instrumental in Rhia’s vision to fill capital gaps faced by equity-centered, community-led RMH enterprises. The candidate is expected to lead in sourcing, structuring, and managing a portfolio that uses creative financing solutions to promote equity-based innovations within the RMH ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deal execution of impact-first investments in RMH.
- Manage a portfolio of community-based and early-stage RMH enterprises.
- Deploy blended capital instruments, including recoverable grants and convertible debt.
- Track portfolio performance and lead investor reporting.
- Design and maintain investment policies and risk management processes.
- Develop and implement an impact measurement and management framework.
- Support fundraising and capitalization of the $50M strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with investees and co-investors.
- Represent Rhia externally at convenings and sector events.
- Lead the hiring and management of an Investment Associate/Associate Director in 2027.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in impact investing, community development finance, or lending.
- Experience managing a portfolio and deploying capital across multiple instrument types.
- Strong financial modeling and investment analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience with blended capital structures and impact-first investments.
- Deep personal alignment with reproductive justice, health equity, and intersectional frameworks.
- Ability to hold financial rigor and deep mission integrity together.
Benefits
- Base Salary: $150,000–$190,000 annually, dependent on experience.
