About this Role

Opportunity to join a leading Energy Transition team at an international bank, Rabobank, with a focus on originating strategic, fee-based, and event-driven advisory, markets, and financing opportunities. As a senior coverage banker, your role is essential in originating and developing high-value business for both new and existing clients in a key growth sector of the bank. The Energy Transition Coverage team at Rabobank serves prospective and existing clients leading in strategic and growth segments of renewable energy, power, and infrastructure, primarily focusing on digital infrastructure. The Executive Director is envisaged to be the lead banker and primary point of contact for a portfolio of at least 20 clients and 10 prospects, enhancing relationship planning while aligning with Rabobank’s solvency, credit, and risk appetite standards.

Responsibilities

  • Expand the client and revenue base, optimize client satisfaction, and maximize returns within the risk framework.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and coordinate client and deal teams.
  • Generate ideas, conduct market and sector analyses, and prepare discussions and presentations for clients and prospects.
  • Leverage Rabobank’s network, industry knowledge, and product suite to provide clients with support and advice.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams and functions for achieving success.
  • Lead the development of relationship planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related studies.
  • Series 79 and 63 licenses or a willingness to obtain them promptly.
  • 12+ years of corporate and investment banking experience with a strong track record.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the Energy and/or Infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50%.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States full-time.
