About this Role
Join Vodafone as an ESG Specialist where you’ll be part of the team shaping the sustainable future of connectivity. At Vodafone Business, the Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) team is dedicated to helping customers achieve their sustainability goals. This role is pivotal in executing the Vodafone Business ESG strategy and roadmap. You will work directly with customers and collaborate with stakeholders across different functions to coordinate key programs and deliver against sustainability objectives. Part of your responsibility includes evolving our ESG strategy in line with customer needs, regulatory changes, and industry developments. A key element of this position involves developing Product Lifecycle Assessments to accurately measure the effectiveness of Vodafone’s products in reducing carbon footprints.
Responsibilities
- Support and advise Vodafone Business on a wide range of ESG topics.
- Work cross-functionally to deliver actions contributing to the ESG roadmap.
- Support the delivery of Vodafone’s year-end annual report, including managing external consultancy support and coordinating product inputs.
- Track and coordinate actions required to support Vodafone Business customers with sustainability requirements.
- Manage customer requests and help shape responses for product sustainability requirements.
- Monitor evolving customer environmental and data requirements.
- Lead colleague engagement on ESG topics, developing and delivering sustainability training.
- Improve processes across marketing, bid, sales, and product teams to effectively respond to customer ESG requirements.
- Advance the sustainability agenda through Product Lifecycle Assessments and collaboration on decarbonization goals.
Requirements
- Experience working across cross-functional teams or projects, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in a sustainability team or consultancy.
- Project and supplier management experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with external suppliers and customers.
- A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience in large, complex matrix organizations.
