The role’s purpose is to support the reporting of ESG data to the Group by various business units. The successful candidate will be a driven and focused individual, equally passionate about the technicalities of reporting and its underlying structures. Building and leveraging relationships is essential, enabling the candidate to obtain, review, and report data efficiently and accurately. This role involves delivering and reviewing ESG information in line with compliance requirements, such as the CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and UK SRS.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of ESG information across operating companies and Group functions.
- Act as the key point of contact for selected ESG reporting areas to guide compliance and assurance.
- Review and challenge ESG reported data and the processes used to obtain it from multiple sources.
- Drive the implementation of group-defined policies and process controls.
- Continuously monitor opportunities for process improvements, including automation of data collection.
- Produce required reports and data analysis for internal stakeholders to support operational decisions.
Requirements
- Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a reporting function for a large organization.
- Knowledge of ESG-reporting requirements in the EU and UK.
- Ability to build strong relationships across diverse functions.
- Strong communication and excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver data in compliance with regulatory standards.
