About the fund
IMPAQTO Capital's first fund supports early-stage impact startups in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Colombia through flexible loans of up to $200,000 for working and growth capital. The fund targets companies rooted in the Andean Amazon that deliver basic services, strengthen agricultural systems, and build climate resilience in underserved communities, while partnering with Indigenous producers and cooperatives. These ventures have extraordinary potential driven by strong Indigenous governance and regenerative markets, focusing on areas such as guayusa sourcing, reforestation, premium market connections, and services including internet access, recycling, and fair trade food. Portfolio companies include Fibrazo (internet access in Colombia), Sinba (recycling in Peru), and Cusi (fair trade food in Ecuador).
The fund's investors include Sorenson Impact Foundation, Full Spectrum Capital Partners, CREAS Ecuador, DF Impact Capital, Boosting Opportunities, WCCN, and UnTours Foundation. To date, the fund has invested in six companies that support over 175,000 people, with four of the ventures led by women.
