The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) orchestrates investments, technical assistance, and policy reform to advance market economies and private enterprise in 36 economies across Europe, Asia, and North Africa. Since inception, EBRD has invested over €180 billion in more than 6,600 projects, focusing on climate finance, infrastructure, and the development of green markets. The institution is also a leading investor in Ukraine and channels significant resources into green transition efforts, aligning all activities with the Paris Agreement since 2023.
