This position involves engaging closely with senior portfolio managers and leveraging relationships with management teams to unearth valuable investment opportunities. Responsibilities

  • Drive stock selection through research coverage and recommendations.
  • Collaboratively contribute to portfolio construction and strategy.
  • Generate investment ideas and conduct fundamental and sustainability due diligence.
  • Engage with portfolio holdings and report on sustainable outcomes.
  • Participate in portfolio shaping, position sizing, and risk assessments.
  • Execute financial modeling and valuation exercises.
  • Maintain regular communication with management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.
  • Undertake primary research and fieldwork to support investment theses.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years in investment banking, sell-side, or buy-side research experience in equities.
  • Strong fundamental research skills, including deep-dive company analysis, financial modeling, and valuation.
  • Demonstrable interest or experience in sustainable investing and understanding of industry frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with verbal and written communication proficiency.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects, multitask and maintain attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • FINRA series qualifications and CFA certifications are advantageous.
