About this Role

Imagine a future where you help shape how large-scale renewable projects are financed and brought to life. As part of the Strategic Transactions and Negotiations team, you will support high-value strategic transactions across Ørsted’s US renewable portfolio, focusing on tax credit financing and financial modeling that enables critical investment decisions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with finance, commercial, development, and external partners to support high-impact investment decisions. Our team values collaboration, open knowledge sharing, and supporting each other to deliver robust outcomes across complex projects. You will lead financial analyses, support negotiations, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial analysis to support tax credit financing processes.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support valuation tracking and decision-making.
  • Support negotiations with tax equity partners through data-driven insights and analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Contribute to investment decision materials for internal committees and stakeholders.
  • Support due diligence and transaction processes across tax equity, M&A, and divestments.

Requirements

  • Degree in finance, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with financial modeling and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to communicate financial concepts in a structured, easy-to-understand manner.
  • Interest in renewable energy markets, project finance, and transaction structures.
  • Organized, proactive, and focused on delivering results collaboratively.
