About this Role

As a Visiting VC Analyst at Brighteye Ventures, you will play a crucial role in the firm’s investment activities, engaging in various processes from sourcing to decision-making. This position provides a significant opportunity to delve deep into the venture capital world, offering hands-on experience and enabling you to interact with the vibrant European startup ecosystem. You will work closely with the team to identify promising startups, conduct thorough evaluations, and support strategic investment decisions. Additionally, you will represent the firm at key industry events, further expanding your professional network.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-potential startups across Europe that align with the firm’s investment thesis.
  • Conduct market sizing, financial analysis, and team assessments as part of due diligence.
  • Create materials to support investment committee decisions.
  • Analyze industry trends and market dynamics to refine investment strategies.
  • Represent Brighteye at pitch events, conferences, and ecosystem gatherings.

Requirements

  • Prior internship in VC, PE, M&A, strategy consulting, or a startup.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for startups, technology, AI, education, and Future of Work.
  • Sharp analytical mindset, attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills in English and French. German is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, initiative, and independence.
  • International work or study experience is a strong advantage.
