What We’re Looking For
We invite expressions of interest from candidates or freelancers/consultants who have experience supporting accelerator/incubator programs, especially with early-stage companies, have good knowledge of the entrepreneurship ecosystem in their local regions, as well as demonstrated experience in program management, and investment support.
Potential opportunities
We are always looking for individuals to perform all or some of the following tasks as part of a larger team:
- Sourcing and Due Diligence: Identify and recruit high-potential companies to participate in the program, including creating a database of sourced startups, application scoring and participating in the selection processes.
- Programmatic Support: support the design and implementation of Village Capital programs including but not limited to program logistics and coordination, providing technical and organizational support to ensure the successful delivery of program outcomes
- Reporting: Support in the development of briefings books, company progress reports and program final report. This involves company interviews and providing insights for selection calls
- Mentor Engagement and Database: create detailed mentor list of sector-specific investors, organizations, and industry leaders.
- Stakeholder communications: manage communications with entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors.
- Investment Support: on top of sourcing and due diligence, support with financial check-ins with cohort’s startups including creation of the Deal Book and investment memos when appropriate.
