About this Role

The Investment Associate at Galvanize will be an integral member of the Venture and Growth team, working at the core of efforts to build leading companies shaping the future of energy and climate solutions. The role offers extensive exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from identifying industry shifts to supporting companies in scaling operations. As part of a collaborative team, Associates will contribute to theme development, investment execution, and portfolio value creation. The position suits a motivated investor seeking meaningful responsibility and an opportunity to help build a unique investment platform.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and execute new and follow-on investments.
  • Conduct proactive thematic research and market mapping.
  • Develop relationships with founders and ecosystem partners.
  • Perform market analysis and financial modeling.
  • Prepare investment committee materials.
  • Support portfolio company reporting and performance tracking.
  • Work on strategic and operational initiatives with portfolio companies.
  • Assist with fund reporting and valuation support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two years of experience in investing, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Strong integrity and ethical judgment.
  • Self-starter with a track record of exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Authorization to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
