About this Role
The Senior Director of Impact Investing at The Colorado Health Foundation will be integral to fortifying the Foundation’s mission through responsible investment strategies. This role involves managing the Foundation’s Impact Investing program, collaborating with various organizations to identify and cultivate investment opportunities that align with the Foundation’s goals. Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer, the Senior Director will play a crucial role in fostering partnerships and ensuring the Foundation’s resources effectively promote health equity and racial justice across Colorado. Since 2017, the Foundation has effectively collaborated with over eighty-five organizations, investing upwards of $150 million through diverse investment structures. The role requires advancing the Foundation’s mission while maintaining an emphasis on systemic equity.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite and manage diverse investments in line with the Foundation’s mission.
- Build and maintain relationships with consultants and financial partners.
- Collaborate with program officers to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Lead and facilitate the Impact Investing Workgroup.
- Monitor portfolio performance and address issues.
- Oversee annual updates to the Investment Policy Statement.
- Design and deliver training, host convenings for field thought leadership.
- Share relevant learnings with staff, board members, and peer foundations.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with impact investing partnership development.
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, public policy, or related fields.
- 10 years of management and leadership experience.
- 5 years of people management experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Passion for using various strategies to impact health.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License.
