About this Role
Accion Venture Lab is searching for a strategic Operations Analyst to join its innovative team. This full-time position, based in Mumbai, India, is perfect for professionals seeking insight into impact investing with a dedicated global effort. Your role will focus on operational duties while offering exposure to various domains, such as portfolio monitoring, market research, and business development. You will be part of a dynamic team striving to enhance financial inclusion through innovation. Your efforts will directly contribute to Accion Venture Lab’s goals, including fund operations, portfolio management, and organizational development. The role demands collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide support on fundraising processes, including fulfilling investor diligence requests
- Manage and support all operating, financial, and impact data collection processes ensuring timeliness and quality
- Support the production of quarterly and annual reports
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to fulfill reporting requests
- Perform market research for due diligence on new investment opportunities
- Participate in meetings related to investments and due diligence
- Support Venture Lab’s external positioning and drive industry recognition
- Provide support for event planning including content creation and attendee management
- Create materials for industry presentations and reports
- Perform market deep dives to update the team and influence investment theses
- Coordinate across the team to facilitate fluid operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, International Business Communications, or related fields
- Master’s degree
- Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
- Exceptional ability to prioritize workload and track assignments
- Strict attention to detail
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
- Keen understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for entrepreneurship
- Experience living or working in emerging markets and with remote/global teams
- Knowledge of financial inclusion and/or impact investing industry a plus
