About this Role

This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, mission-driven leader to manage, build, and optimize operational systems essential to Autodesk Foundation’s success. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment while overseeing diverse responsibilities to enhance organizational growth. You will be part of a dynamic team, supporting foundation leadership to drive operational excellence. Your role includes managing cross-functional projects and ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s mission and goals. Additionally, you will manage projects related to strategic planning, board engagement, reporting, and budget oversight, while actively fostering an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Foundation leadership and functional leads to develop the Foundation’s strategy from conceptualization to execution.
  • Analyze trends and data to inform strategic decisions and ensure the Foundation’s initiatives remain relevant and impactful.
  • Support strategic interlocks and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive the Foundation’s work forward.
  • Oversee the Foundation’s reporting requirements, tracking progress against strategic goals and operational benchmarks.
  • Prepare regular reports for the Impact Leadership team and the Board.
  • Act as a liaison to the board, supporting committee management and board-level initiatives.
  • Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage the Foundation’s annual budget.
  • Lead and manage high-priority cross-team projects, ensuring timely execution and high standards of excellence.
  • Manage and support two direct reports—the Foundation Administrative Lead and Data Analyst.
  • Lead culture-building initiatives to foster inclusivity, teamwork, and engagement.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in nonprofit operations, strategic planning, or a Chief of Staff role within a mission-driven or non-profit organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Mac and Windows operating systems, and business applications such as Slack and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
  • Deep understanding of nonprofit governance and board engagement best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
