About this Role
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Research and Analyst Fellow. As part of SCA’s comprehensive fellowship program, you’ll gain access to tools and knowledge that will advance your career. Throughout the fellowship, you will engage in meaningful work within your area of interest, define your career goals, and develop new skills while building professional relationships. You will work directly with senior SCA team members on various projects. During the fellowship, your work may involve corporate organization and business development, including profiling investors and researching information needed for business development efforts. You will gather and organize data related to sustainable infrastructure trends and assist in developing client proposals and presentations. Additionally, you will be involved in communications, writing, and editing articles and web content related to energy, environment, and policy issues for the SCA website and social media.
Responsibilities
- Support business development efforts through activities such as profiling investors, developers, and potential off-take counterparties.
- Gather and organize data related to trends in the sustainable infrastructure sector by technology, geography, and policy.
- Assist in the development of client proposals and presentations.
- Research, write, and edit articles and web content on a broad range of energy, environment, and policy issues.
- Prepare responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Research and draft marketing materials such as presentations, articles, and white papers.
Requirements
- Pursuing an advanced degree in Communications, Business, Policy, Finance, or Environmental Studies.
- Completed Finance related courses and/or finance sector experience.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc).
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and public presentation skills.
- Ability to create an analysis, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Ability to work in a team environment, including virtually with SCA team members and clients.
- Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, initiative, and ability to face and manage issues innovatively and professionally.
- Open to feedback with a strong desire to develop professional skills.
