About this Role
Closed Loop Partners is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join the Closed Loop Leadership Fund Team. The role involves supporting the investment team throughout the deal process, from origination and due diligence through deal support and post-investment portfolio management. The Associate will be instrumental in researching new investment opportunities and contributing to strategic projects. This position requires strong financial modeling and analytical skills to evaluate investment opportunities and provide detailed industry research. The successful candidate will also take part in preparing materials for investment committee reviews and executive presentations.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of investment opportunities including financial modeling, valuation, and return analysis
- Conduct market landscaping and industry research
- Manage pipeline of new and prospective investment opportunities
- Perform impact measurement analysis and reporting
- Support the preparation of term sheets and letters of intent
- Monitor select portfolio companies and conduct quarterly portfolio valuations
- Assist in due diligence on companies, management teams, customers, competitors, and industries
- Prepare materials for Investment Committee, Executive team, and investors
Requirements
- 1-2 years of post-college experience in investment banking, private equity, investment management, or related industries
- Undergraduate degree with demonstrated academic excellence
- Strong financial modeling, accounting, and corporate finance skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness
- A dynamic, enthusiastic individual who can take both initiative and direction
- Ability to work in small deal teams with opportunities for success and challenges
- Genuine, personal interest in sustainability and the natural environment
- US Work Authorization required
