About this Role
The Natural Capital team at CrossBoundary is seeking MBA Associates to join its initiative to unlock capital in underserved regions. As part of this team, you will work with a diverse array of investors, donors, and businesses aiming to facilitate investments in challenging markets. Your role will involve assessing macroeconomic landscapes, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, and providing necessary transaction support to drive sustainable development. The position is a 12-week commitment starting from early June until early August, with potential flexibility according to project needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead natural capital-focused transaction advisory projects.
- Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
- Facilitate investor outreach efforts for client companies.
- Support transactions with due diligence and strategy formulation.
- Conduct macroeconomic, regulatory, and operational assessments.
- Deliver sector analysis for priority investment areas.
- Pitch strategic business opportunities aligned with CrossBoundary’s mission.
- Manage investor relationships and identify key market trends.
Requirements
- 4+ years in top-tier banking, project finance, consulting, or private equity.
- Current MA or MBA candidate.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership in dynamic and entrepreneurial environments.
- Proficient in financial modeling and basic accounting.
- Experience with Development Finance Institutions is advantageous.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities in challenging contexts.

- Direct experience in Latin America or Southeast Asia is a plus.
- Spanish or Portuguese proficiency is advantageous.
