About this Role
The Manager, Capital plays a crucial role within Echoing Green’s Programs Team, specializing in supporting fellows by designing and implementing equitable fellow selection and funding processes. Working directly under the Senior Director, Capital, the Manager will project manage the implementation of the Selections/Disbursements processes. The role involves refining program offerings based on strategic plans and assuring the effectiveness of communication materials. This position requires overseeing various processes and systems, including payment disbursement and grant management, ensuring an equity-centered approach to social innovation and philanthropy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Echoing Green’s Follow-on Funding Program, providing unrestricted grant funding to alumni social innovators.
- Refine program offerings and selection criteria using qualitative and quantitative data.
- Prepare and present process updates and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Design application forms, scoring rubrics, and evaluation methodologies.
- Manage accessible project plans with clear roles, deliverables, and milestones.
- Lead cross-functional teams through grant cycles covering recruitment, screening, and due diligence.
- Facilitate post-process debriefs for growth opportunities.
- Create user-friendly manuals and training materials for stakeholders.
- Draft culturally responsive communications for external audiences.
- Maintain systems for Fellow information, design processes for timely payments.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payments and resolve issues.
- Develop processes for managing financial offerings like fiscal sponsorships and grants.
- Guide a cross-functional team toward achieving data-driven program goals.
- Represent Echoing Green nationally or internationally through occasional travel.
