Our client is searching for an INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE to join their investment team, reporting to the Director of Investments. This role will involve identifying, analyzing, executing, and managing investments that align financial results with positive social impact. The successful candidate will work closely with the investment team and stakeholders to maximize returns and generated impact, lead due diligence processes, structure transactions, and manage portfolio company performance. They will also be responsible for designing impact metrics and strategies to maximize social and environmental benefits. Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market and sector studies to identify trends and investment opportunities.
  • Evaluate business models and competitive advantages for sustainable social impact.
  • Identify market risks and strategic opportunities related to potential investments.
  • Provide data-driven and detailed analysis-based recommendations.
  • Design and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment viability.
  • Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to measure risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate and lead comprehensive due diligence processes.
  • Support transaction structuring and negotiation.
  • Oversee financial and operational performance of portfolio companies.
  • Identify and optimize impact metrics throughout investment lifecycle.
  • Establish strong stakeholder relationships and represent the fund in industry events.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in relevant roles, including M&A, leveraged finance, Private Equity, or Strategic Consulting.
  • Advanced financial modeling experience with skills in Excel.
  • Experience managing relationships with strategic partners and investors.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both oral and written.
  • Alignment with the fund’s values and objectives.
  • Knowledge or certifications in ESG, social impact, or sustainability are advantageous.
