About this Role
CrossBoundary is seeking to recruit experienced Investment Advisors to join their team in Latin America. In this role, advisors will play a crucial part in advancing investment in the region while establishing and expanding CrossBoundary’s presence. Candidates will work collaboratively on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, performing macroeconomic market assessments, and supporting investment transactions. This position is pivotal in facilitating substantial impacts on investments throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing technical and operational aspects of CrossBoundary’s mandates in Latin America and the Caribbean
- Managing project performance and reporting of all project activities and results to key program stakeholders
- Managing investment facilitation, including transaction identification and evaluation
- Identifying and rigorously assessing investment opportunities
- Conducting macroeconomic, regulatory, and operational assessments
- Providing sector analysis of priority areas for investment
- Sourcing investors and managing numerous investor relationships
- Supporting transactions and leading complex deals
Requirements
- 5+ years in top-tier banking, consulting, private equity, or similar fields
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or another advanced degree (including CFA)
- Experience working in developing countries
- Business fluency in Spanish and English
- Demonstrated leadership skills, preferably in fast-moving and complex environments
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Knowledge of corporate finance and familiarity with company evaluation and valuation techniques
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues in stressful environments
- Excellent presentation skills with diverse audiences
- Comfort with ambiguity and operating effectively in changing contexts
- Familiarity with the Latin American investment landscape
