A dynamic and dedicated manager with experience in credit risk assessments in emerging markets, sustainable finance and private debt in particular. Serving as the Head of the Market & Credit Risk business unit, the function mainly consists of monitoring and managing the credit, market and ESG risks related to our global pool of pipeline institutions and existing investees. It also includes the development of credit, market and ESG risk assessment methodologies, processes and tools for core business and innovation.The position is full-time with reporting line to the Head of Investments. The position will be based in either Geneva, London or Amsterdam.Lead a team of 7 specialists based in Geneva and London, overseeing credit, market and ESG risk assessment and monitoring for both core-business (financial institutions) and innovation sectors (fintech, clean energy, corporate lending, agri-business, project finance).Organize and participate in Credit Committees.Develop and refine credit and markets risk methodologies and tools.Oversee ESG risk methodologies, tools, assessments and overall monitoring.Provide support in workout cases (as needed).Conduct trainings for other units (as needed).The Head of Market and Credit Risk is member of the Symbiotics Investments Management Committee, of the Investment Division Committee, of the Lending Standard Committee and the Exposure Review Committee.Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced manager, able to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment. More specifically, we have the following requirements:Solid expertise in the field of credit and market risk assessment of private debt in emerging markets, with a focus on financial institutionsGood knowledge of ESG risk assessment, SFDR requirements, positive impact assessment;Expertise in assessing project finance, fintech, clean energy or trade finance investment opportunities is a strong added value;Interest in and enthusiasm for sustainable investments and strong sense of purpose;Previous experience in successfully managing a team, preferably across multiple locations;Capacity to handle multiple tasks and transversal projects and thrive in a high-pressure environment;Fluent in English, another language (Spanish or French) is a strong assetValid work permit for either Switzerland, the UK or the NetherlandsSymbiotics is the leading market access platform for impact investing, dedicated to private markets in emerging and frontier economies.
