About this Role

The Director of Catalytic Capital at Align Impact, LLC plays a critical role within the Research team, guiding investment selection and monitoring efforts across multiple asset classes such as venture capital, private equity, and real estate. With a strong understanding of sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring, the Director is expected to apply strategic insights into our investment processes. As a leader within the organization, you will be responsible for steering the firm towards its ambitious impact investing goals, ensuring our strategies align with both short-term and long-term organizational objectives. You will also act as an ambassador of Align Impact, representing our unique approach to investments with poise and deep industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Set the overarching investment strategy for the team and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Champion strategic decision-making and collaborate on team priorities.
  • Oversee overall management, growth, and planning responsibilities for the team.
  • Contribute to publications and speaking opportunities.
  • Develop sector-specific investment theses and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Oversee sourcing strategy and manage firm relationships.
  • Direct due diligence frameworks and provide strategic insights.
  • Lead monitoring processes and mentor specialization within the team.
