About this Role
The Climate & Policy Analyst role at Longevity Partners is designed for individuals with a foundational understanding of climate change and the built environment. The position involves delivering comprehensive climate-related risk assessments and developing net zero carbon strategies tailored for real estate clients. Analysts work closely with project teams to provide insightful data-driven solutions aimed at enhancing resiliency in the built environment. In addition to a focus on climate resilience, the role requires supporting the development of regulatory alignment services, including projects related to the EU Taxonomy and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This position provides a platform for gaining practical experience in sustainable development, contributing to projects that drive meaningful change in the built environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct climate-related risk and financial impact assessments at asset and portfolio levels.
- Prepare climate-related disclosure reports and conduct gap analyses.
- Manage and develop Longevity Partners’ EU Taxonomy alignment tool.
- Support the management of the regulatory database and monitor legislative developments.
- Assist in developing and implementing effective carbon strategies.
- Organize and analyze large datasets, managing data quality processes.
- Produce thought leadership pieces and conduct relevant industry research.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with project management experience.
- Proven ability in analyzing and communicating technical information.
- Master’s degree in relevant fields preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in climate change or sustainability roles.
- Proficiency in Python or R and familiarity with CRREM, SBTi, and MACC analysis.
- Fluency in English, with additional European languages being a plus.
