About this Role
As an Associate Consultant in Sustainable Finance at Ambire, you will join a multicultural and highly experienced team operating within a dynamic startup environment. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks including engaging with clients, managing projects, and coordinating international teams. You will conduct technical and policy research on climate change and sustainable finance, and support capacity building initiatives in both Spanish and English. Additionally, you will assist in the management and delivery of technical assistance programs, while also contributing to the development and maintenance of stakeholder relationships.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental engineering, sustainability, or related fields
- 2-4 years of work experience, particularly in writing technical and scientific reports
- Knowledge of financial markets and green debt instruments
- Understanding of sustainable finance taxonomies
- Expertise in climate science, especially in energy, transportation, and manufacturing sectors
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Willingness to work across different time zones
