About this Role

The Assistant Manager of Social Impact at Rare Beauty plays a crucial role in supporting the execution and operations of the Rare Impact initiatives. This role involves cross-functional collaboration across various teams such as Brand, Marketing, PR, Creative, and Communications. The primary responsibility is to integrate social impact into brand moments, community initiatives, and campaigns. The Assistant Manager will be involved in developing and executing mental health programming and strategic partnerships, thus advancing Rare Beauty’s impact goals and strengthening brand affinity. Additionally, the role requires building and maintaining relationships with nonprofit partners and supporting the Rare Impact Fund’s initiatives, which include fundraising and awareness campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of key impact programs including College Ambassador and mentorship initiatives.
  • Collaborate on product launches and cultural moments integrating social impact.
  • Manage communication and engagement with Rare Impact Fund partners.
  • Serve as a liaison across nonprofit organizations and external stakeholders.
  • Support planning and execution of social impact events and community activations.
  • Develop run-of-show documents, briefing materials, and event coordination workflows.
  • Collaborate on monthly mental health content and campaign messaging.
  • Manage project trackers, team meeting agendas, and shared documentation.
  • Provide logistical support and improve operational efficiency across workflows.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in social impact, nonprofit partnerships, or related fields.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, and presentation tools.
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and social impact work.
