About this Role
Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation is actively seeking an Analyst to support the foundation’s mission by assisting with strategic and funding priorities for DRK portfolio organizations. This role involves developing perspectives on specific issue areas, and evaluating potential grant and investment opportunities. The Analyst will work closely with the Portfolio Support and Diligence & Investment teams, offering unparalleled exposure to a range of social impact enterprises. As an Analyst at DRK, you will spend a significant portion of your time supporting entrepreneurs in building strong, scalable enterprises. Responsibilities
- Support portfolio entrepreneurs with decision-making in areas like strategy, financial modeling, and pricing.
- Work with senior directors to manage relationships for follow-on funding.
- Create materials showcasing portfolio organizations’ work.
- Lead research on specific issues to inform DRK’s funding strategy.
- Assess applications for DRK’s funding focus.
- Represent DRK at external events.
- Conduct critical analysis in DRK’s diligence process.
- Track and analyze DRK’s deal pipeline effectiveness.
