Holberton secures $20 million to expand its “OS of Education”

ImpactAlpha, March 30 — Holberton launched a software engineering and programming education in 2016 to help students get high-paying jobs at Dropbox, Tesla, Google, Facebook and other top Silicon Valley companies and has expanded to18 schools in eight countries.

The company will use the new financing to reach 1 million students worldwide by 2030 with its “OS of Education” programs and tools.

Edtech investors

Holberton has raised $33 million to date. Redpoint Ventures led the latest round, with participation from Daphni, Imaginable Futures, Trinity Ventures and early stage edtech investor Reach Capital (see, “Reach Capital closes $165 million fund for edtech startups).
