Announced in late 2025, the Inclusive Insurtech Investment Fund is an early-stage venture capital vehicle targeting insurance technology startups across Africa that deliver climate, health, and other forms of coverage to vulnerable individuals and households. The fund seeks to deploy capital in seed and Series A stage companies, addressing a critical financing gap that constrains the scaling of tech-enabled insurance solutions in underserved African markets. Built on the foundation of the Bimalab Accelerator program, it combines acceleration-stage support with equity investment to support financial inclusion and climate resilience objectives. The fund is currently in fundraising mode with a target capitalization of $30 million, and welcomes participation from development finance institutions and aligned impact investors seeking exposure to scalable insurance innovation in emerging markets.
