Canopy is a nature restoration financing facility domiciled in Singapore that deploys blended finance capital to support landscape-scale ecosystem recovery across Southeast Asia. The fund targets approximately 12,000 hectares of high-quality restoration projects, combining concessional and commercial capital to improve financial viability and risk-adjusted returns for nature-based solutions. Backed by the UK's ASEAN–UK Green Transition Fund, Canopy is currently in first close fundraising and welcomes capital from government grant-making agencies and impact-oriented institutional investors. The fund's strategy aligns conservation outcomes with sustainable financing mechanisms, addressing the funding gap for nature restoration in a region of significant biodiversity and ecosystem services value.
