WDB Investment Holdings was established to ensure the financial sustainability of its parent WDB Trust. The company makes strategic equity investments (typically minority stakes of 10%–49%) in growth-oriented, cash-generative businesses with enterprise values over ~R500 million, in sectors such as consumer goods, education, technology, renewable energy, healthcare, property, and diversified industries. WDBIH actively participates via board representation and seeks to influence strategy while promoting women’s leadership, equity, skills development, and procurement from small businesses. Profits are largely channeled back to the WDB Trust to fund women’s development programs.
