About the fund

Resolution Ventures’s WorkerTech Fund is the UK’s first dedicated impact investment fund focused on supporting early-stage technology companies that improve working conditions, pay, prospects, power, and wellbeing for people in low-paid or insecure employment. Launched in September 2025 with an initial close of £6.75 million toward a £9 million target, the fund makes equity or quasi-equity investments of £75k–£200k into pre-seed and seed-stage ventures that use technology to tackle structural labour market challenges. It builds on the success of the earlier WorkerTech Partnership, which invested in impact-oriented companies reaching hundreds of thousands of UK workers, and is backed by institutional and mission-aligned investors including the Resolution Foundation, Ufi VocTech Trust, Better Society Capital, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Friends Provident Foundation, and others. Companies backed by the fund address issues from pay transparency and workplace representation to legal support and job matching, combining rigorous social impact with sustainable business models.
