Toyota Ventures operates as the venture capital arm of Toyota, investing in early-stage startups developing breakthrough technologies including artificial intelligence, robotics, mobility, cloud, digital health, fintech, and materials, as well as climate tech. Since its inception in 2017, Toyota Ventures has invested in more than 75 startups across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, with a focus on technologies that advance sustainability and carbon neutrality. In 2024, the firm expanded its platform with two new $150 million funds—Frontier Fund II and Climate Fund II—bringing total committed capital to over $800 million.
