The Enko Impact Credit Fund is the inaugural private debt vehicle from UK-based Enko Capital, targeting mid-sized enterprises across Africa's core economic sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, and renewable energy. The fund provides dollar-denominated credit facilities to businesses with export operations or dollar-based customer contracts, addressing a critical financing gap in the continent. With a target size of $150 million and $100 million already raised, the fund aims to support financial inclusion while promoting sustainable development in key industrial and agricultural sectors. Enko Capital structures its investments to meet the specific needs of African businesses operating in international markets, while offering institutional investors, development finance institutions, family offices, and foundations exposure to the growing private credit landscape in Africa.
