About the fund

Revolve Fund’s catalytic capital pool is a philanthropic investment vehicle designed to deploy highly flexible, non extractive capital into underserved entrepreneurs and mission driven organizations that cannot access traditional financing. The fund primarily uses recoverable grants structured with impact or revenue milestones rather than fixed repayment obligations, allowing capital to recycle when outcomes are achieved while protecting recipients from downside risk. It combines this capital with underwriting, advisory support, and ecosystem partnerships to help grantees build track records and unlock follow on financing from banks, CDFIs, and institutional investors. The model is explicitly catalytic, aiming to crowd in additional capital and strengthen local capital ecosystems rather than generate financial returns for funders.
