About the fund

The CARE Fund advances a healthier care economy by purchasing and upgrading properties for in-home and small facility childcare providers who typically lack property ownership and access to capital for business expansion. This fund targets predominantly women-owned childcare businesses, which include a significant share of women of color, aiming to create stable, long-term operational spaces with supportive leases. CARE actively works to address the shortage of affordable, quality childcare in low-income communities across the U.S., starting with properties in Nevada and California.
