About the fund

EWA II is a $24.4 million venture capital fund managed by EWA Capital, focusing on early-stage investments across Latin America. The fund deploys capital in the fintech, enterprise software, health, education, and clean energy sectors, with a specific gender-lens investment approach. At least 40% of the portfolio is allocated to companies demonstrating a gender-smart footprint, which includes businesses with women founders, female C-suite executives, women board members, majority women customers, or organizations with explicit gender goals. As EWA Capital's second fund, EWA II accepts investments from a diverse group of limited partners including development finance institutions, family offices, foundations, high net worth individuals, and institutional investors.
