Founded in 2021 by Generation Investment Management, Just Climate deploys institutional capital into climate solutions targeting sectors that are most critical for climate impact but underserved by mainstream finance. Specializing in hard-to-abate industries, the firm seeks to demonstrate that climate-led investing can deliver both high greenhouse gas abatement and attractive risk-adjusted returns. Its inaugural fund, Climate Assets Fund I, raised $1.5 billion to support efforts that can meaningfully contribute to limiting global temperature rise.
