

ISA Energia Brasil S.A. (formerly CTEEP — Companhia de Transmissão de Energia Elétrica Paulista) is the largest private operator in Brazil's electricity transmission sector, responsible for approximately 30% of all energy transmitted nationally and around 90% in the state of São Paulo. Incorporated in 1999 following the break-up of state utility CESP, the company was privatized in 2006 when Colombian group ISA acquired majority control.
